Coffee Maker Instructions Questions and Answers
Resolved Question: How to brew tea without all that fancy equipment?
I don't have a teapot or kettle or anything like that (not even a coffee maker). And it is only me drinking it, so if I make too much hot water, it will just get cold and wasted. So how should I go about making green tea? How much water should I boil for a good single cup of tea? Or should I always try to drink 2 or 3 at a time? Can I just pour from a covered pot into a coffee mug and put the leaves in, let it sit for a minute or two, then drink? Also what is this steeping business? I read it means to let the leaves sit in the water for a few minutes. But my Chinese friend made me some tea one time and it still had the leaves in it. He had it really easy, though - he used the hot water from the coffee maker and just scooped the leaves into the coffee mugs we were using. Also how am I supposed to get tiny little tea leaf flakes out of my cup? Forgive me if I seem a bit annoyed. I have been looking for instructions online for the past hour, and all of them require this fancy (for a poor university student at least) equipment and don't explain exactly how to steep tea. "Steeping" is not an atomic action, so it needs a little better explanation than "steep for 1-3 mins." Thanks. moreResolved Question: How much water to put in a coffee carafe?
I'm trying to make a pot of coffee (for the first time, obviously haha) and I figured out how much water to put in the resevoir and how much coffee grounds to put in the filter, but the instructions I got off online just said to "add water to the coffee maker's carafe." I didn't even know you were supposed to put water in there, so how much should I put in? Do I fill it all the way or does it differ depending on how much coffee I'm making? I've got the rest of the maker set up to make 3 cups, so how much water should I put in the carafe? moreResolved Question: How do you make iced coffee in a mr. coffee iced tea maker?

well i see alot of the users here are really worried about exams ect, so here you go every1, its like a little advice thing frm a really good web site, it really helped me get A*s and i hope inshallah u use it, May Allah support you and help you in this time if difficulty Get good sleep. Sleep deficiencies seem to affect response time more than accuracy, but then many tests are timed, so get that sleep. Be prepared. If you can get a sample test, or a previous version, so you know what kind of questions will be on it, you'll be more likely to study the right things. Arrive on time. In general, test-anxiety is bad for test scores. Time pressure adds to test-anxiety, so avoid it by being on time. Avoid nervous test-takers. Anxiety can be contagious, so don't sit near others who are obviously stressed. Ask about the test. The administrator of the test may be willing to tell you where most people have trouble, and you can remember to double-check answers in that part of the test, or watch for "trick" questions there. Have a cup of coffee. In various studies it has been shown that people score higher on written tests after as little as a half-cup of coffee. This may not be true if you are are a very nervous person, however, so use your own judgment with caffeine. Breathe deep. Take several deep breaths and let the tension drain from your muscles. Specific Test Taking Skills Continue to take a deep breath now and then throughout the test, to keep the oxygen level in your brain up. Focus on each question. Getting totally involved in one question, even for a moment, reduces anxiety. It is better if you don't think about the other questions while working on the current one. Take notes. If you are allowed to take notes, write down any information you might forget. This can be especially useful if you "crammed" for the test just before taking it. Read instructions. Points are often lost because the instructions weren't followed. Plan your time. Quickly review the test when you receive it and plan how much time to take for each section, allowing several minutes for reviewing the test afterwards. Answer easier questions first. This gets your confidence up and is like a warm-up for the rest of the test. Skip tough questions and return later. This is especially important on timed tests. You don't want to leave five easy questions unanswered because of time spent on a tough one. Determine the test makers intent. If an answer seems too easy, and you are sure it's wrong, look for a similar answer. Test makers often try to catch sloppy test takers with answers that are close in appearance. Look for any other clues to intent when you are unsure of the right answer. Answer all questions. Unless there is a penalty for a wrong answer (as opposed to an unanswered question), you should guess on questions you are unsure about. On multiple choice tests, eliminate as many unlikely answers as you can and pick one of the remaining ones. You might get half of these questions correct with this method. Review the test when you are finished. See if maybe you learned something from later questions that can help with the correct answers for earlier questions. Make sure you marked the right circles or boxes on multiple choice tests. Don't leave until the time is up. You may feel that you have done everything you can do, but why not use any leftover time to review the test once more? There may be a simple mistake that you can correct. Studying is certainly the best way to score higher on a test. On the other hand, no matter how much you study, you know that other factors play a role too. Why not apply a bit of proper preparation and a few good test taking skills too?Just noticed the top i mean all my "brotherSand sisterS" moreResolved Question: did you know these cleaning hints? are they good ones?
Household Hints Floors No-wax floors: To wash no-wax floors, add ½ cup of white distilled vinegar to a half-gallon of warm water. Carpet stain removal: A mixture of 1 teaspoon of liquid detergent and 1 teaspoon of white distilled vinegar in a pint of lukewarm water will remove non-oily stains from carpets. Apply it to the stain with a soft brush or towel and rub gently. Rinse with a towel moistened with clean water and blot dry. Repeat this procedure until the stain is gone. Then dry quickly, using a fan or hair dryer. This should be done as soon as the stain is discovered. Windows & Walls Streakless windows: Simply wash with a mixture of equal parts of white distilled vinegar and warm water. Dry with a soft cloth. This solution will make your windows gleam and will not leave the usual film or streaks on the glass. Washing woodwork: You can ease the job of washing painted walls, woodwork and Venetian blinds by using a mixture of 1 cup ammonia, ½ cup white distilled or cider vinegar and ¼ cup baking soda with 1 gallon of warm water. Wipe this solution over walls or blinds with a sponge or cloth and rinse with clear water. Dirt and grime comes off easily and the solution will not dull the painted finish or leave streaks. Water or alcohol marks on wood: Stubborn rings resulting from wet glasses being placed on wood furniture may be removed by rubbing with a mixture of equal parts of white distilled vinegar and olive oil. Rub with the grain and polish for the best results. Kitchen Garbage disposal cleaner: Garbage disposals may be kept clean and odor free with vinegar cubes. Vinegar cubes are made by filling an ice tray with a mixture of 1 cup of vinegar and enough water to fill the ice tray and then freezing it. Run the mixture through the disposal, and then flush it with cold water for a minute or so. Coffee maker cleaner (automatic): White distilled vinegar can help to dissolve mineral deposits that collect in automatic drip coffee makers from hard water. Fill the reservoir with white distilled vinegar and run it through a brewing cycle. Rinse thoroughly with water when the cycle is finished. (Be sure to check the owner’s manual for specific instructions.) Clean the microwave: Boil a solution of 1/4 cup of white distilled vinegar and 1 cup of water in the microwave. Will loosen splattered on food and deodorize. Deodorize the kitchen drain: Pour a cup of white distilled vinegar down the drain once a week. Let stand 30 minutes and then flush with cold water. Clean the refrigerator: Wash with a solution of equal parts water and white distilled vinegar. Clean and disinfect wood cutting boards: Wipe with full strength white distilled vinegar. Brass polish: Brass, copper and pewter will shine if cleaned with the following mixture. Dissolve 1 teaspoon of salt in 1 cup of white distilled vinegar and stir in flour until it becomes a paste. Apply paste to the metals and let it stand for about 15 minutes. Rinse with clean warm water and polish until dry. Ant deterrent: Ant invasions can sometimes be deterred by washing counter tops, cabinets and floors with white distilled vinegar. Getting Rid of Fruit Flies/Gnats in Your Kitchen Place a bowl filled with ½ quart water, 2 Tbsp. sugar, 2 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar and a couple of drops of dish soap to attract the fruit flies. Always eliminate the source of attraction, i.e., ripened produce. Cleaning Stainless Steel Appliances Apply vinegar with a soft cloth to remove streaks from stainless steel appliances. Try in an inconspicuous place first. Cleaner Dishes and Glasses Pour 1 ½ cup to 2 cups white distilled vinegar in the bottom of dishwasher, along with regular dishwasher soap. Wash full cycle. Remove Refrigerator Smells Place 1 cup apple cider vinegar in a glass and set in refrigerator. Within 2 days, any smell is gone! Bathroom Bathtub film: Bathtub film can be removed by wiping with white distilled vinegar and then with soda. Rinse clean with water. Shower doors: Rub down shower doors with a sponge soaked in white distilled vinegar to remove soap residue. Toilet bowl cleaner: Stubborn stains can be removed from the toilet by spraying them with white distilled vinegar and brushing vigorously. The bowl may be deodorized by adding 3 cups of white distilled vinegar. Allow it to remain for a half hour, then flush. Unclog the showerhead: Corrosion may be removed from showerheads or faucets by soaking them in white distilled vinegar overnight. This may be easily accomplished by saturating a terry cloth towel in vinegar and wrapping it around the showerhead or faucet. Lawn/Garden Kill grass: To kill grass on sidewalks and driveways, pour full strength white distilled vinegar on it. Kill weeds: Spray white distilled vinegar full strength on tops of weeds. Reapply on any new growth until plants have starved. Last Xmas, a BLONDE was given a gift certificate from Bloomingdale' s for a rather elaborate and expensive foreign made coffee-and -latte machine, by one of her admirers. It had all the latest gadgets, bells and whistles on it. Knowing her propensity for getting instructions mixed up, she went to the store to pick it up and get some first hand instructions on the electric machines operation. The salesman carefully explained how everything worked; how to plug it in, set the timer, go to bed, and upon rising, the coffee would be ready." A few weeks later, she returned to the store and the salesman inquired as to how she liked the coffee maker. "Wonderful!" She replied, "However, there's one thing that really"bugs me" and I don't quite understand. Why do I have to go to bed every time I want to make a pot of coffee?"blonde was recently hired at an office. Her first task was to go out for coffee. Eager to do well her first day on the job, she grabbed a large thermos and hurried to a nearby coffee shop. She held up the thermos and the coffee shop worker quickly came over to take her order. "Is this big enough to hold six cups of coffee?" the blonde asked. The coffee shop worker looked at the thermos, hesitated a few seconds, then finally replied, "Yeah. It looks like about six cups to me." "Oh good!" the blonde sighed in relief. "I'll have two regular, two black, and two decaf." moreResolved Question: How do you make coffee?

It's a single cup brewer, we got it a few weeks ago and just now opened the packaging. We followed instructions by "priming" it and the first cup (hot chocolate k-cup) tasted watered down (even whilst watching the cup fill, certain moments it poured out very clear liquid and others dark). After it was done I removed the K-Cup and it seemed fullish; like all the powder inside wasn't emptied into the mug. I tried it two more times, using coffee instead. Horrible watery coffee, with the same fullish feeling in the k-cup. Am I doing something wrong, or is their some sort of blockage making the coffee turn out this way? Please help if you can! moreResolved Question: Help with a coffee maker...?
