Refillable Coffee Pods Questions and Answers

Open Question: Have you gotten your "Armageddon Care Package" Yet?

The answer is no The thing we shouldn't take for granted is life. Life is simple. You are born, and eventually die of natural causes or from a catastrophe Each government should come together to pay for this kind of care package for everyone. This is the only way to have a chance, and for this to happen The package would need all the necessities to abstain life for 10 years Some items would be: Toiletries (Soap, Shampoo, Tooth Brush, Toilet Paper etc) Military food that preserves for years without spoiling Shovel, Knife, Matches, Sanitizer, First Aid Kit, Rope, Swiss Army Knife Medicines, absolutely needed to last 10 years. (This i know can be a lot) Only Medicines that a person could not live without Flash Lights, with self charging, crank system Water Purifying System/Capsules Guide Book to perform any surgery, along with tools. And all guides of anything else Satellite Cell phone, crush resistant, waterproof (Cell towers, and land line are more vulnerable to be not able to be used) CB Radio Heavy duty Pop-Up Tent GPS Duct Tape Thread, needle Hammer/Axe combination (One side axe head, other side hammer head) Vaccines for known diseases Lab kit, and directions to know which disease is which one Seeds, and guide to make fertilizer out of everyday things around us Thermal Blankets Compass, Map Pots, and Pans (Small light weight) Aspirin Water Proof (Pre Loaded) I-pod type of music player. With All songs ever made (With crank charger) Holy Bible, or Bible like scripture for each religion for each person's religion Face Mask Radiation Poisoning Pills/Shot Radiation Geiger Counter Diary with Pen, 1000 Page (Water Proof, Crush Resistant, Heat Resistant Casing) Watch With Calendar Spork, Plate, Bowl Pre determined Camps Map (Like refugee camps) Knife Sharpener EpiPens Shoe Repair Kit Super Glue (Can actually be used on Cuts that cant stop bleeding, unless wound is closed) Bow and Arrows & guide for making both out of trees Fishing pole/Net Cold/Flu Medicine Vitamin & Minerals Pills Sleeping Bag, to withstand -100 Degree's (Might not be made yet) Binoculars Bow-saw Tarp Whistle Trekking Pole Flint Self-Inflating Pillow Wireless Weather Station Device (Same function and size as a GPS) Coffee Press Coffee Grind (1 cup a day for 10 years) Folding Fishing Rod, With Fake Bait Air Horn (With refillable cartridges) Flare Gun (With many shots) Fire Extinguisher Hot/Cold Packs Bug Jackets & Netting Machete Fire Starters Guide on what naturally grown berries, fruits etc, that is safe to eat Guide to natural remedies Environmentally safe laundry detergent GED Book (Only book that has all subjects into one book) Any and all Guides to sustain life Now i know what your all thinking. This back pack must be the size of a shed. Well many of these can be down sized. And the actual Rectangle box it would be in. Would have to be water proof, heat resistant, crush resistant, and mobile The case would need have compartments and organized The case wouldn't be impossible to lug around. it would have to have self propelled wheels. and a large handle, for one to pull with both hands as it is behind them This will cost a lot of money. But it could be the very one thing to bring all countries together. This is just an estimate, but 1/3 of money from each country could be more than enough, or just under Say something catastrophic happens worldwide. Money than would have no use what so ever This would create many jobs, and the only way to work, is to have every country in this Strict and harsh laws would have to be made for selling, opening or any form of tampering with these life saving cases. An idea is a GPS unit built inside. And a device to signal a case opening, and a vibration censor for reason of tampering, or trying to cut, hammer etc, it opened Another idea is 1 time per month These cases need to be Wireless or in person checked. To see if it has not been tampered with. And Checking for the items that can spoil, seeing if they have been or not been spoiled yet. No person rich or poor will have any difference in quality, or the wide ranged of goods inside. All will be the same. No favoritism And of coarse this will be free for everyone. Because if not, only the mid level family and up would have a chance at life. Poor people are humans as well as the rest of us. And CANNOT be excluded This is for ANY and ALL natural or man made disasters. more

Resolved Question: Has anyone used one of the refillable pods for their Senseo coffeemaker?

I really love my Senseo coffeemaker but finding less and less stores carrying the pods. Or when they do have them they're as much as $5.69 a bag. Has anyone out there with a Senseo coffeemaker bought and used one of the refillable pods? I'd love to try this as it would obviously make the coffee MUCH cheaper plus I'd have much more variety to choose from and never have to worry about running out - since I could get coffee anywhere. This is what I'm talking about - http://www.amazon.com/Improved-Ecopad-Refillable-Coffee-Filter/dp/B0007INM5A Since it's so cheap I'm ordering it whether people respond here but just want to see if others have used them. Thanks!I'm kinda mad about that Keurig. Looks like it has WAY more flavour options but the pods don't fit Senseo. I guess I'll just have to come to your house for coffee LOL more
