Open Question: How to decorate my room with white walls?

So my walls are white and no I cannot paint them. My bedding is black and white and I have blue throw pillows. I have picture frames laid out with blue pictures, but there is just no real bang to it all. Also, I have tall ceilings and the one caves in so there is like a huge wall shelf with nothing on it which looks strange. Any ideas? Thanks Oh and I am a teenage girl:) more

Open Question: What theme colors go well with red and tan walls?

I recently repainted my room - 3 walls in a deep red, and one in a buttery tan color. Now I'm trying to figure out how to decorate and pick good theme colors to go in our room. I was originally thinking that I'd like to use a chocolate brown and creme as an accent color combination, along with a little bit of a light aqua blue. But I've but looking around our room, and we just have tons of mismatched stuff in there :P Our dresser, desk, and baseboards are all different shades of brown, and our bed frame is white. The door are also white, and we have a chair with a brown frame, and an off white cushion. We bought these bars to attach to the walls, to put pictures up on, but they're black. I just don't know if the brown and creme is really going to fit in - it would really only be in the bedding, and maybe in a couple accent candles or pillows or something. Now I'm starting to lean towards using black and creme, with a light spring green accent. Any thoughts!? Give me any input at all, on what you think I should use. Open Question: Help with decorating... any ideas?

Alright for mine and my hubby to be's bedroom I'm going to paint it a light blue color with a black border around top and then on one wall I'm going to do three black squares in different sizes with a little light blue square inside (that's only on one wall). I have a black comforter set, black modern looking wall hanging and black picture frames. I'm making black bedside tables with pictures on the top of our family. I bought these silver letters from target that have adhesive glue and I'm going to stick them to the wall above our bed saying "All because two people fell in love..." Opinions on how that will look? So.. I pretty much have the bedroom figured out. But when it comes to our new living room, I'm stumped. I know I want to paint. And we're going to be buying all new (well used.. but new for us) furniture so colors and all that is pretty wide open. Any ideas? I'm thinking maybe something light brown.. I know I DON'T want just one color... that would be boring. Thanks for any help! more

Open Question: Spiders Hatched in My Room!?

A day after being gone for a week, I found maybe 30-70 small, brownish-white spiders along my door frame and ceiling around 5 AM. I assume that they hatched inside my room somewhere and, after spraying the floor, walls, and ceiling feverishly with insecticide, I vacuumed the floor and the ones I saw, mostly in the corners and walls. I then took everything out (including the mattress, which I vacuumed, and all my clothes, which I washed, and the bed-frame, which I dusted) and dusted/rearranged everything, cleaning behind and under every furniture. I even emptied my closet. I sprayed again and again, to the point where it was uncomfortable for me to inhabit the place. I removed myself for about three days, in which I only returned to vacuum and spray more. Yet, I still found a spider crawling on my bed. I used to have arachnophobia pretty badly - if I knew a spider was anywhere in my house I wouldn't be able to function unless it was dealt with, but I've gotten much better about maintaining a good state of mind about them. I'm alright with them being in my house and even in my room, but I don't want a community of small little creepycrawlies to reside in the peripherals of my main living quarters. Do you think I've killed most of them, or are they too resilient? If so, what should I do? Also, I'm not sure where they came from, exactly. I found a cobweb behind my bookcase and vacuumed it, but that potential eggsack was opposite the place where I originally found them. Is it possible that they sprouted from a crack in the wall instead, or do they regularly migrate in groups when first hatched? more

Well I need some help..I already have: -zebra bedding -turquoise walls -picture frames,lamp,etc -planning on getting beanbags The only thing is I have two big desks in my room that wont match. Im getting rid of one to make space fo the beanbag area but I will still need a computer desk. Should I somehow paint my wooden one or buy a new one? Ive been looking EVERYWHERE for that black-modern looking desk with a place for computer,printer,and pictures. And I will also need a new bed that will match. Im not sure if all this made any sense but I need help!! If you have ANY ideas they are much appreciated!!! more

Open Question: What is the wire assembly that supports a mattress on old army beds called? (like chain link)?

It is a series of wires that are linked together in squares or rectangles, and supports a mattress. The frames are steel or iron, no wood. Beds similar to this are/were probably used in prisons. Anyways, I need to know if that kind of wire assembly can be purchased in bulk rolls (the way fencing is), so people who work with metal can make their own beds, to unpopular dimensions. Open Question: how to fit a dually bed on a cab and chassis f350?

I have a 93' f350 cab and chassis with 9.6' flatbed on it right now, its a 4x4 dually, I would like to put a regular dually bed on it, what would I encounter? the frames are different for the regular dually one tons and the cab and chassis one tons. The dually fenders would have a lot of over hang on the rear tires, I'm not sure if 3" wheel spacers in the back would do the job, but also would the bed even line up with the cab? the frame stands up in the rear more (I think) so I don't know if the bed would line straight with the cab? please give me some opinions on this, thanks. more

Open Question: Does this sound like my foot is broken?

A few days ago i ended up jamming my foot into the bottom of my bed frame. my 3 last toes are the ones that kicked it. Ever since, the top of my foot under the hurt toes is sore. Mainly when i walk on it or wiggle the toes. Does anyone think this sounds like a break or fracture? Ive never had pain last this long from a stubbed toe. Thanks for the help. more

I went on a double date with this guy, who is pretty awesome. We had dinner, then my friends and I drove him home, and as I was driving he held my hand and asked permission for a 'goodnight' kiss. When we got to his house we practically made out on his front porch. At the time he lived a far distance and I didn't have the time to go out and see him, so we kind of just stopped talking. My friend messaged him and asked him why we stopped talking and he said because I told him I wasn't interested (which I was and still am!). She then asked if he liked me and he said yes. I texted him later that night and eventually he replied back and we texted for 30+minutes. He told me that he was "going to bed. ttyl :)" I'm kind of waiting to see if he texts me today.. If I don't get a text from him, should I consider texting him tomorrow? (I'm kinda on a short time frame here because he leaves for boot camp in less than a month..) Is there anything I should do? Do you think he could still be interested? After I dropped him off at his house on our date he told me that i was a good kisser and that he wants to see me again.. more

Open Question: What do you think of the first couple of pages of my story?

I decided I wanted to write a story and so I wrote this. What do you think? The house was vaguely familiar to me. Though I was sure I’d never been here before. I continued up the grand staircase, spiralling through the large open plan living room. Higher, and higher. I suddenly noticed pressure on my hand, and glanced down to see a large hand entwined with mine. I gasped and looked up into a pair of green, probing eyes. They were framed with thick lashes the exact same jet black as the hair that fell in an attractive array over his arched eyebrow. He smiled down at me with a familiar easiness, though, as with the house, I was sure I’d never met him before. He leant his head down to kiss me.... I woke with a shock in my room. It was still dark and as I rolled over my eyes caught sight of the flashing red numbers of my alarm clock. 2 am. Great. I sighed and rolled onto my back, closing my eyes knowing I wouldn’t be able to get back to sleep now. I sat up and threw my pillow at the wall in frustration. My fingers began to massage my temples as I pondered my dream. I had pondered this dream every night for the last week. Every night, waking up at 2, unable to sleep any more. I couldn’t find any meaning in it, could see no repetition in the days I lived through. No pattern. 6am. Finally. I heard my mum pad softly down the stairs and I followed behind her. “Morning.” She whispered. “Toast?” “Yeah, thanks.” I watched her carefully place a few slices of bread into our toaster. I took a deep breath. “Mum?” I began hesitantly. “What is it Lucy?” She asked angrily. She knew exactly what I was going to ask, and she hated me more every time I asked. “The dream. “ I stated simply. “Oh for goodness sake Lucy. I am fed up of hearing about this. It’s a dream, it means nothing. I wish you would stop talking about it.” She yelled. Another movement from upstairs. Uh oh. Dad was awake. Get ready for an argument Lucy, I thought. “What is going on down here? All I ask for is a bit of quiet in the morning but no!” “Lucy is STILL talking about that dream of hers.” “For heaven’s sake Lucy.” My father yelled. “It’s a dream, dreams rarely make sense.” “But, it’s just...I have this feeling. It’s like the guy. It’s like I should remember him. Like I should remember that house.” “That’s it. Go to your room. NOW!!” He screeched. “But I’m meeting up with Jenny today!” I cried. Angry tears sprang up and began to make a descent down my cheeks. “I don’t care Lucy. I am sick of hearing this. It’s ridiculous, crazy!” “Fine. Why don’t you get me locked in a padded cell if I’m crazy?!” “Maybe we will Lucy. Maybe we will.” I ran up the stairs and slammed my door. I threw myself onto my bed and sobbed into the quilt. When I had finally cried all the tears I had, I rummaged around my bag for my phone. Sniffling, I rang Jenny. She was always the perfect anti-depressant. “Lucy, please don’t tell me your ringing to cancel. I’ve had the worst morning, my brother’s being an idiot again. It’s depressing me so much.” She wailed. Of course I went right into guilt mode and began crying down the phone. “Oh Jen I’m so sorry,” I whimpered. “My parents...I told them about the dream again. They won’t let me out. They think I’m crazy.” “Oh babe. It’s fine, sorry I wouldn’t have said anything if I’d known. Just ignore your parents. Dreams always mean something. Even if it’s not what you think it is.” Jenny explained. She had a passion for interpreting dreams. She wanted to become a ‘dream psychiatrist’ apparently. “I suppose.” I sniffed. “Well, I’d better go. Sounds like my parents are arguing again. Bye Jen.” “Talk to you later babe.” I hung up feeling no better than I had before the phone call. I tiptoed out of my room and sat down after going down a few stairs. I clung onto the banister as I heard what they were talking about it. “Honestly Claire. I just don’t know what to say. Maybe she’s right and she needs to go to a special school for a while.” “George. Be serious. It would just make it worse. Lock her up with a load of other freaks who have gone crazy. They’d encourage it.” “Well, maybe just seeing someone would help. A psychiatrist.” “Maybe. But I don’t see how it could help in the circumstances. Maybe we could tell her a little about it and that would shut her up.” “NO!” My father shouted. Then there was a pause as they realised that, even in my room, I might have heard him. When they were satisfied with my apparent cluelessness, he continued. “We cannot tell her. Not under any circumstances.” “I know. I know. I was just trying to think of everything we could do. I know it wouldn’t really be possible. Although, these are our choices not to tell her.” “Claire. We decided long ago that she would never know about him. His parents are doing the same. Open Question: bed bugs please help?

i have bed bugs and i cannot afford to buy a new bed or hire an exterminator i have no job and i'm trying to find a job i have enclosed my box spring my mattress and pillows in covers yet im still getting them i haven't been able to sleep in two months because of this i'm scared to sleep i'm scared to turn my lights off at night i have welts on my back from the bits i have put a bowl of water under the legs of my bed frame and wrapped duct tape on the tops of the bed legs also rubbbed my whole bed with vasiline and murpheys oil.how are they still here? are they hiding in my rug? should i steam clean my room i vaccum everyday and wash my bedding a couple times a week please please help mei think i got them from some boxes that i got from a friend for a yard sale would steam cleaning my room help at all i also have cats should i bath them alot could they be on them this is eating me alive here also it seems like they leave a smell to them i wont see any for a week or so then i start seeing a few its not that many but still gives me the creepsand yes i did get the special protectors for everything to enclose it my only though is they are on my rugthank you i never thought of the tape idea to pick up the eggs i have just been using a scrubbing brush and scrubbing the area before i vaccum more

So 2 months ago I bought a new mattress with out the bed frame. I only bought it with out because the sales person DIDN'T tell me what could happen if I didn't. So now the mattress is already hurting my back and not straight. If I was to go and buy the new frame would it help straighten it out? Now, this IS the first time I have EVER bought a mattress and was completely clueless until I called and asked. Now it's MY fault for the condition of the mattress, and I can't exchange it... Open Question: boyfriend act like I am out to get him?

So my boyfriend acts like I am trying to fuck him over a lot. He is on drugs for depression related to ptsd (he is a vetran) but was fine for most of our relationship. But recently he acts like I am trying to persecute him or something. Like tonight, we were watching a movie In bed on my laptop, he falls asleep and I go to the bathroom, when I come back I trip over the bed frame because it is dark and he wakes up. He has to get up in 6 and a half hours and accuses me of being selfish because I woke him up and continues to get mean after I told him I tripped and I didn't intentionally wake him up. Things like this have been happening a lot recently and I don't know Why or What to do to fiX IT? Any ideas why he would start acting like this or what can be done?he doesn't have drug problems, he did after he got out of the military after being wounded but he took care of those issues and its just emotional issues now, which I think have gotten worse since he started taking his depression meds again (he wasn't taking them for 5 or so months before this started) and he does act like his needs are more important, like last week before we both got paid we had $7 in the bank, I am hypoglycemic and need to eat regularly but he decided it was more important for him to have energy drinks? It is a far cry from the man I met, fell in love with and moved in with. more

Open Question: I think my room is haunted? serious answers please?

When i walk into my room i get the chills, every single time as soon as i pass through. when im in my room, my brand new lamp often flickers, but only at night. The wiring is fine ive checked it many times. the lamp that was in the same spot before that was knocked over and broken. My cat lives in my room, but in the time frame that it was knocked over, she was in the basement and the door was shut tightly. I have a trophy shelf above my dresser that is very heavy and has many objects on it. when i came up to my room, the items from that shelf were on the floor as if some angry person swept them off and the same with the items on my dresser. then as if the shelf itself was picked up then dropped hard on my dresser and left a very big dent. it couldnt just fall like that because the way it sits is like a wooden board on an "L" and the "L" was still nailed to the wall. my cat dislikes going on the side of my room that the door is on. she is constantly staring at my closet and door. she sleeps on my bed but never on the side that the door is closest too. i am constantly hearing a tapping or knocking sound on the wall very close to my door. when i watch tv or read a book on my bed, it feels as if someone is sitting on the foot of my bed. i think that is it... sometimes when im holding my cat i see movement in the corner of my eye. please help guys... i dont know what to do... im terrified to go in my own room. more

Resolved Question: Help me design my zen bedroom?

I am going to be living in a 4 bedroom flat right next to campus this school year. So excited. In a month I move in. I want my bedroom to have a very zen feel. Here are some specs... -I will be ditching the ugly generic woodgrain bed frame that is included in our rent, instead I will just be laying the box spring and mattress on the ground, like this (thought this has just a mattress, I also like the simplicity of this room) http://s34.photobucket.com/albums/d114/t-madd/Zen%20room%20designs/?action=view&current=01dorm04132010_rect540.jpg -I think I mostly want to do just black and white colors but am very open to suggestions -I am getting an all white down comforter with white duvet cover -A desk is included in the room, but it is ugly and bland. Open Question: Knocked my front tooth a little bit?

A few days ago I woke up at 5:30am with this dull pain in my top front tooth. I fell asleep and when I woke up , the pain was gone. I think I probably hit my tooth on the bed frame or something. There is a faint white fleck on it, but it's not noticeable unless I shine a light on it. It's not visibly wiggly, but sometimes I feel a very light pain in it. I know that I'm being paranoid, but is it going to tighten up on its own, or do I need to see a dentist? more

Open Question: The biggest blocked nose in recorded history?

Last July, I have a blocked nose so bad that I could not go to sleep at all. You see what happened was, when I was going to bed and I would be trying to breath through my mouth; I was accidentally keep closing it up on getting close to falling asleep. No matter what position I was in, I could not sleep so that my mouth would hang open; so basically I did not sleep at all. The sneezing was keeping me awake as well, and so was the running of the snot. I went to the doctors the next day and he said "You have hay fever". I tried to go to bed the following night, but I had the same problem; so still not a wink of sleep after 48 hours solid. I called the doctor back up and he gave me some drugs to get rid of the hay fever symptoms, but they would not work; and so I was awake all night again for another 2 days (making it 96 hours with no sleep). At this point I had hallucinations, and could see spider running up the walls and black pimples on everything; I was talking to people that weren't there and all sorts. I went to the doctor on the 5th day, and so I was admitted to hospital. They gave me a dental mouth frame to hold my mouth open while I sleep (which is what they use to keep people's mouth open when they have dental surgery), but the sneezing wouldn't stop; so I was awake on the 5th night as well; this means 120 hours with no sleep. Eventually I threatened to kill someone, and I was taken to the psychriatric hospital and put into a padded cell; I was seeing all kinds of things from pink elephants, to UFO with bat-men aliens that feast on human genitals coming out. They have to hose down my face to blast away all the snot, as it was like glue all over my face. After 51 days and 51 nights without a wink of sleep, I was taken to the ER suffering from generalised convulsions and cardiac arrest, then I was in the intensive care units for 6 weeks after. I asked the hospital staff to try and blast out the snot with TNT or semtex or something, but they kept giving me Lemsip and lockets, which never worked. They called the press out to see the first death from hey fever occur, but I obviously did not die. There was so much snot on the hospital bed, and it was so sticky that they had to call out the fire brigade to get them to hose the bed down to wash it down a sloose; there was so much of it that I had to be given dehydration treatment. Nearly 14 gallons of not was collected in buckets around my bed over the weeks, and 300 rolls of tiolet roll was used. The whole hospital stank of fish and there was flies and maggots everywhere. I thought that I was going to start emmiting radiation by that stage, and have walking snot-monster chasing people down the street eatting old ladies by that piont. Because of the this, I suffered 89% brain damage, and I had to have my snot glands removed. Finally the sneezing is starting to go away. Is it really possible to never be able to sleep again because of a blocked nose, all because you cannot keep your mouth open all day and night? CREED more

Open Question: What is the best method to transport home furnishings to a new location?

I'm planning on movie to San Fransisco from San Diego and I was wondering what suggestions for methods of transportation of my home furnishings (bed frame, dresser, armor, desk, bookshelf, etc...) I don't have a friend with a truck or large vehicle and I'm not sure if renting a Uhaul would be worth it. Do you think just buying new furniture would be cheaper than transporting all of my items there? more

Open Question: Can you help me find this dollhouse from the 1980's PLEASE?

I was given this dollhouse in the mid to late 1980's. It was NOT a fisher price dollhouse. It was yellow, 2 story, plastic. It came with some white hard plastic furniture that you could put stickers on (like stickers for the pillows on the bed...). You could also put stickers on the walls to look like picture frames, a clock,etc. The back opened up or came off completely. It did not have any dolls that came with it. I've tried every variation of "plastic yellow vintage dollhouse" that I can think of. I've never found it. Do you have any suggestions? I've been all over Ebay for months. I came across it one time but it was sold before I could contact the seller and get more info. Thanks! more

Open Question: Does My Room Sound Good? If Not How Should I Do It?

Hey Guys! Me here, I'm redoing my room soon and I am so excited! But I need some ideas and what you think. So I'm going to tell you a little about the design and the color scheme so you can paint a picture in your mind and tell me what you think. Also, while you read try to keep in mind I'm a 15 year old girl and looking for something somewhat earthy and unique. My Room: Right now the room I'm going to be moving into is the storage room because just recently my older brother moved out. Once I get all of my junk sold I will be able to move into the bigger room, when you 1st open the door you can see an indent and then a stick out in the wall. This is there because of the fire place in the living room next to it. (I'm going to say that the indented wall is going to be called the West wall). Continuing on the west wall theres another indent at the end so its, in out in, it actually looks very cool. Next is my North wall and if you don't know your N,S,E, and W this is going to be quite difficult for you, my north wall is just a plain flat wall and then there's a corner on to my East wall. My east wall is the wall with my window on it and the window is about near the middle of the wall, and finally my south wall, which is the wall with my closet on it. Colors: My West wall is going to be my brown wall, it's going to be like a coffee brown color so its not to dark and depressing. My North, East, and South walls are going to be an aqua blue, more on the blue side then green. My floors are going to be Dark Hard Wood and I'm going to have a large, white, fuzzy rug in the center of my floor. So the dominate colors are going to be brown, aqua, and white. Pretty cool right? My Idea: My West wall is going to be simple, on the pushed out part of the wall is going to be my wall t.v. that you can move and then in the farthest indent is going to be a huge white fuzzy bean bag and then hanging from the ceiling will be 3 paper lanterns. Each lantern hanging from different lengths next is my North wall which has three famed pictures on it and then two little flower mirrors. (Most of my stuff is found on pbteen.com) My south wall will have more pictures on it and then after the window will be a large circular mirror with small round shelves on the wall for my makeup/hair things, around the mirror is going to be a brown vine (not real) with purple flowers on it and then a little white bow in one curved corner. My South wall is going to be simple, maybe one picture and then my closet, for my closet door I'm going to have instead a beaded curtain and then around the frame of the closet little white lights, following after my closet is my door which will have a full body mirror on it. In the center of my room will be a chandler and then with the head board up against my North wall will be my bed, I'm adding two more lights to my room not counting the lanterns and small lights around the closet. In the corner between my North wall and East Wall is going to be a hanging plant that has purple flowers and under it will be my night stand next to my bed, my curtains will be a lacey white and on the outer part a brown so I can either let a lot of light in or almost none. I think I've about explained everything. Please give me your ideas and what you think about it! Oh one more thing, the trim is going to be brown and then around the whole room right above the trim will be a pen white line so i can separate the browns, thanks so much for reading! The times I can eat are dictated by my job but I'm trying to eat well. I'm quite a small framed guy looking to lower my body fat percentage from 15% to about 10%, and I work out throughout the week so I can have that lean but ripped look without gaining too much size. My job also involves me doing alot of heavy lifting which is handy. BREAKFAST; Bowl of Bran Flakes, 6 egg whites, 1 banana, 1 scoop of whey with skimmed milk LUNCH; A well balanced meal high in protein, carbs and with alot of vegetables. Many eons ago when I was a kid my brother had bunk beds that were handed down to my sister and I. I remember the mattresses had a wooden frame inside to keep them stiff and from falling down into the bunk below. I am now getting a bunk bed for MY kids, second hand, that does not have mattresses. Suddenly she stopped and looked at the ancient mansion that loomed before her. The girl walked up to the door and pushed it open. Her footsteps were muffled by the heavy coating of dust on the once magnificently glowing hardwood floors. She walked purposefully down the hallway, past spider web coated chandeliers, grand parlors and other such rooms, then she came to the black door. The black contrasted with the mansion’s other maple colored doors in a somewhat eerie way; nevertheless she twisted the gold handle and stepped forward. The room looked like a young girl’s bedroom, as it had flowers painted on the walls and a lovely white bed frame with very frilly blankets and sheets on the mattress. The girl looked around then removed her cape. She had a small, slight frame and looked around the age of nineteen or twenty. Her face was pale and her hair was a light mousy brown. In fact, all of her features seemed pale and dimmed except for her striking violet eyes and red lips. She absently played with the grey ribbon that was tied around the waist of her floor length grey dress, and then slowly she approached the closet door. Then she did an odd thing, she put her hand on her slightly protruding belly. “My baby,” she whispered softly. She knew whatever was behind that door would be much too dangerous and, for her own curiosity, would not risk her unborn baby’s life. The girl quickly put her red cape back on and sprinted back all the way to her home, to a small cottage down by the river. The baby was born a few months later. The crawlspace looked as though the largest human to get through would have to be the size of a six year old. Getting down on her knees, she fixed long, slim fingers around the top and pulled upward. The crawlspace now reached the height that a full grown man could easily walk through without bumping his head. She walked through, the crawlspace shrinking down after her. The room was dim, only lit by three large white candles that were shaped in a triangle. A man sat in the triangle, his head bent to the ground. He was clothed in all black, except for a long silver chain around his neck. “At last you have returned, Aurielle. Your faith in me dwindles. Do not bother lying to me, you are no longer loyal.” The man said coldly. “I came with a message, my lord. I have given birth to a child.” Aurielle paused. “She is your child.” “Why do you tell me this, women? Kill it for all I care.” “She is your daughter. I cannot kill her. Her eyes are violet like mine and her hair as black as a raven, as yours is.” “What exactly is the magnitude of her power?” “She is the strongest I have ever seen. Her eyes speak the prophecy. My goodness, just the other day she nearly set the house on fire! I have named her Alida. She exceeds my power by far.” “If she exceeds your power, I have no use for you anymore Aurielle.” The man pulled a knife from his cloak and drove in straight into the heart of Aurielle. The young women lay dying on the floor, as her lover kicked her body aside to reach the crawlspace. Before she breathed her last breath, she murmured a spell of protection for her daughter, so that the child would be safe from her father. ** The people of the town noticed Aurielle’s disappearance, but in their opinion the community was better off without her. After all, she was an unwed mother, which made her a bad example for the children. Anyway, she was going to be executed in few days time for witchcraft, so she would have been gone one way or another. However, there was a slight disappointment that they would never see the witch’s neck hang from the noose. And as for her baby, no one could care less. Any spawn of a witch could be no good at all.I'm sorry, it is a bit confusing. Most of the things that went on in the first chaper are explained in the second chapter and throughout the book. more

its been a while since ive watched it.....so i don't remember alot about it....it was really weird and i didn't see the beginning of it but near the end a woman is taken by a man....and her husband is also taken by a man.....the man killed the husband and ties his dog by a bed frame and leaves the dead man and his dog at an old hotel.... somehow the woman escaped and finds her husband and their dog eating him.....at the very end the woman jumps into a huge thing of water.....while she's in the water her dead daughter comes to her....and the mother dies in the water sorry i don't have anymore info on this movie....i don't know who the actors were or anything but it's killin me to know the name....so if u know a movie that sounds familiar to this please tell me....thanks more

ok, i have a 1989 dodge dakota equipped with a 3.9 V6 tbi and an automatic. im rebuilding the truck from the ground up, putting everything on a short wheel base frame rather than the long frame with the 8 foot bed that it was born with..ive got an engine overhaul planned for it in the coming weeks too. another thing im changing about it is the automatic..im going to swap it for a 5 speed. i know what to do, and what it involves, but me being a junkyard guy, im going to obtain a used 5 speed with all the necessary components for operation, and rebuild it if need be. my question is if a 5 speed from one of the early dakotas equipped with the 4 cylinder engine would be able to bolt right up to my 3.9 V6. or do i need to find a 5 speed that was bolted to a 3.9 from the beginning? ive heard that the 4 cylinder tranny will work, but i want a PROFESSIONAL'S opinion. are the 3.9 and 2.2 5 speed transmissions the same from '87-'90 dakotas? i would really appreciate the help, as i have the opportunity to get a 2.2 dakota with a 5 speed right now that would donate its tranny to my dak. more

My daughter is almost 2 months old (next week) and this morning she rolled off the bed. My son might have accidentally nudged her off. Anyways when she hit the floor, she hit her head and whacked her feet on the side of the bed frame. She def cried like ive never heard her cry before. Like she was in pain. I picked her up right away after this happened, and bounced with her for a min and she was fine. what are things i should look for? should i take her to the er to be checked just in case? she seems to be ok, no knots in head, no bleeding, no loss of conciseness, still moving her head around and holding her head up, still moving her arms and legs.... should i be concerned? is there anything i should keep an eye out for?thanks everyone for your answers. I took her to the er. even though she was acting like her normal self. no vomiting, nothing. just acting like she does on an everyday basis. But it def. calmed my fears by taking her. The monitored her for 45 mins and said she was just fine. Voting Question: I am looking for a hospital-style tray table. I've seend this used for people with disabilities?

I have chronic pain and fatigue that often leaves me in bed for long periods of time. So I have a bunch of things on the floor and on the side of my bed. But they fall off and get messed up if they are on my bed, and on the floor, sometimes I don't have the strength to reach down to them. I have been looking for a tray table like they use in hospitals. I'll describe it. It's on wheels, so it's easy to move in to the person in bed, and easy to move out of the way when not wanted. It has an adjustable height so it can be at a lower level for reading or a higher level for eating or having things nearby but not right above you (this is optional, as long as it is at a generally good height if it's not adjustable). The tabletop does not slant or move except if the entire frame is wheeled, and it can take the weight of a small person (I'm 150 pounds) if necessary to help them sit up to the table. I've only seen them in white, so I'll include that in the description, and the frames are always metal. I have looked and looked, and not been able to find anything like this. I have found computer tables for laptops, but these often tilt, have keyboard trays, and no wheels, and are also often at the wrong height for a bed. Do you know where to find a hospital style tray table? I just want one, for my bedroom. Any links would be great. Thank you. more

Resolved Question: How can I get over my fear of the dark?

Ok so im 17 and im afraid of the dark and I want to get rid of my fear. I was afraid of the dark when I was little because I was always paranoid, i'd always have to have my door open, a night light on and be huddled up in a ball. I got over most of it it by the time I was 13 and was able to break free from the ball, having my door closed came a lot earlier due to my mother always having her god damn tv on, and I got rid of the night light. I moved into a house at the age of 12 and about 1-2 years later I started having waking dreams. I'd wake up suddenly and their would be some horrible creature almost human like coming towards me. I'd always have that feeling of it's going to kill me and i'd scream, some times it would run away or disappear but other times i'd just come towards me until my mother came in the room. It would usually happen about 3-4 times a month till I was 15 then it started coming back about once a month. Theirs one that had come repeatedly, it was a huge white spider. It was more annoying then scary, i'd often kick at it when it came down from the sealing on it's silk. When ever I kicked at it, it would sway as if I had touched it then it would run back up to the sealing and disappear. The second last time I ever saw it was when it brought a big black and red spider with it, I got scared ran to turn on the light and I could still see the spider for a second. The last time I ever saw it was when I had a paralyzed dream accompanied with a delusional dream. Im afraid of my brothers room and I used to keep it closed because I always had to walk buy it and i'd often try to run past it but i'd often get hurt because a little set of stairs is literally right next to his door. I got over it but recently I find my self being creep ed out by it. I almost never go into my parents room at night unless I have to, it just creeps me out so much. I'd heard voices at night, they have never been nice and often ended up on threats, I also have a lot of little stuffed animals in my room and some times they creep me right out because I think their going to come after me. Im terrified of my closet and literally only go in it on rare occasions. When ever I go to bed i'll run and jump onto my bed as fast as I can and try to go to sleep. I used to sleep on the couch for about a year when I was 15, my parents hated it but I was to afraid to go into my room. When we first moved in I slept on a mattress then they got me a bed frame and I couldn't sleep in my room for a few weeks because I was so paranoid. I often have bad cases of paranoia if I have sugar right before I go to bed. But I know it's not the true cause of it because it happens even when I don't have sugar. I think my paranoia and waking dreams have started up again because I noticed im displaying odd behaviors like I normally do when i'm afraid of the dark. I was fine for a while but now I can't even go into the kitchen with out a light on and I freak out if I do go in with out a light on.I currently sleep in my room with the door closed. I do face the dark a lot but im getting in to my paranoid habits.Again! and I don't want to see a doctor again. more
