Resolved Question: What is a inexpensive, but comfortable sofa lounger for my first apartment?
I've been looking around and I can only find either a cheap sofa lounger that is not comfortable or a comfy one that is not cheap. Does anyone know of a good place to find a decent sofa lounger, besides IKEA (unless you have personally had a good experience with it)? It will be used mostly as a couch in my little studio apt, and also for guests to sleep on every once in a while. I would prefer to spend no more than 200-300 dollars and I would like it to be black microfiber, not leather. I found one on Kmart's website, it's called the Elite Mali Flex Capital Collection Futon, but it only has 3 reviews (all good). I'm sceptical to buy it though because I haven't tried it out for myself ( they didn't have it at the store, only online). Has anyone had one of these or know anything about the brand? Any info would be helpful!! Thank you =]

Well Im barely turned 15 year old guy. And I have my parents big queen size bed and dresser in my room. And I want to redecorate. my limit is under $900. I have a really small room so with the queen bed and dresser it doesn't really leave room. So I would like a Futon bed but im like 5'11 but skinny so yeah. and dresser and a neww desk but i have a laptop. cause i have a cheap 40 dollar desk from target. also a place to put my xbox and DVR and maybe if there's money left over a new flat screen can it been for that or even less. I really want to re-do my room because I recently turned sixteen about a month ago and I feel like my room doesn't really reflect me anymore. But I'm not sure what to do. My room isn't the biggest room, but it's big enough I guess and right now I have a twin size bed and a futon but I'm not sure I'm keeping both. I'm a singer, dancer, and I play guitar and I also really love the Jonas Brothers, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, and Selena Gomez. Basically I love Disney Oh, and I'm quite obsessed with Twilight. haha I don't know if that will help. but if you have any ideas for me please let me know :)

Right now my room is a big mess of colors and patterns. I want a nice SIMPLE room. The only problem is that I have wood paneled walls. Three of my walls are wood paneled, a light color like this:

Its just the cheap panels. I cant paint them or remove them.
One wall is drywall, its a nice white. I like it. I need a theme, colors I can use, something simple with pops of colors. I need a new bedding too.

And my black futon, which could go with any theme I suppose.
Also, my floor is plain white painted cement. Im getting a new area rug, which I have no idea what color to get.

Make a room look more modern and contemporary? It is kinda of a small bedroom (12x16) but I want it to look more modern. Can someone tell me some ways to acheive this? Currently I have a wood dresser (Planning to paint black and add stainless steel curveed handles), a glass TV stand, and a beat up looking futon and ugly brown carpet (With damaged wood floors underneath) Also my wal;ls a seafoam green. we live in wa and we are trying to sell our furniture on craigslist but have no luck. its a black futon and a full size but set. when they reply we sent them as many pics as they want and price is always going down lol. we dont want to just throw it away or put it on there for free.
so how do we sell it and fast?we were going to do a garage sale but its been raining for the past week. we have already went to this place where you rent out a space and sell as much stuff as you can but we still have stuff left over.
now we cant just get rid of it or put it out there for cheap cheap because this is our extra moving money we NEED. all the items are in great condition just cant take them with us when we move...so how do we get people to BUY THEM. im tired of people asking about it but never following through and BUYING IT. :

I decided to go with the main colors of tan, brown and olive in my livingroom. I want to get rid of my olive couch and get a fouton, but I want a neutral color for the futon mattress. I just don't want it to be *too* neutral, where everything looks muted. I feel like I have to many little figurines and it seems to clutter everything up, but I like them a lot and can't really think of how to re-arrange. I've got an olive and tan striped chair, small white table, olive couch, black tv stand, brown speakers, small brown wooden stand and brown coffee table...How can I do this without making it look like there's too much brown (the livingroom itself is brown and can't be painted)? I feel like the livingroom (although I want it to feel personal) is so much so that it makes it look like an eyesore. How can I fix this?? Are there any places to get cheaper home furnishings (aside from walmart/kmart/meijer)?
