Resolved Question: How to clean/dry a futon cover?
Ok, my futon has a removable cover and it needs to be cleaned.
The instructions on the cover say machine wash, but doesn't say hot or cold. so which should I use?
Also it says Do not put in dryer, why? and how do I dry it? (my apartment doesn't allow close lines outside)
the tag says the cover is 100% cotton and its white and fluffy on the underside, and smooth and black on the top if any of that matters.

i decided that i was going to build a shed type building in the woods behind my house. my plan is that it will be about 10x10 metres wide. and 8ft high. on the outside it will look really shitty with leaves stuck to the roof (probably from the garden decoration isle at walmart) and there will be a clothes line with old clothes hanging from each side of the roof above the front. it will have a wooden door with several padlocks on it. above that it will have a sign that says katies love shack.. inside there with be black chiprock walls and a futon covered with a black blanket. ill also have a coffee table table ( ill probably find at a yardsale or make out of scrap wood) that i will cover with leopord print materiel. the room will be lit by a strobe light or candles. i will have a basket for condoms, a basket for sex toys and a basket for lighters and such. there will be a pole in the middle of the room and a bar by the wall closest to the futon. thr bar will consist of 2 or 4 cupboards with wine glasses and shot glasses, a mini fridge, a little island with drawers and cupboards. therell be paiting of cars and such on the walls too. ifyoy have any ideas for more thigs comment below. im wonderig what aan estimate price would be too, considering i wiuld have none of these thigs yet ?

The Futon and chair are Mission Style and I am looking for a heavy weight tapestry in a William Morris type print like the futon cover LLBean has on their futon ( unfortunately they do not have a matching chair cover.

Chenille or Microfiber as far as quality... the microfiber is more as far as cost does this mean it is better? The chenille i would have to dry clean. My main concern is i want a material that is not going to colllect cat hair...okay well they are ALL going to collect cat hair, but i want one that is not going to SHOW it so much and i can dig at it you know... i want a "tough" material at a reasonable price.
