I am thinking of buying a bunk bed from Amazon.com that has a desk and futon built in. But the futon is more like a chair that a couch. When i read the reviews i found that people said the matress and cover were very difficult to find (the ecaxt measurements for the mattress are 33"W 78"L). if I buy a Futon for a spare room that would be used once per week are the less expensive models adequate , and can a futon matress be covered with a normal everyday duvet cover , to remove and wash . Hello I was looking into getting a new bed and came across a Tatami bed. Here's where I need help though. My current bed (for the past 5 or so years) is actually a futon-sofa bed. After about 2 years the "matress" has gone flat in many areas and was giving me bad shoulder pains. I got one of those ~$100 foam covers but it seems that is going flat as well. The other morning I woke up at 6 to get a drink of water, 45 minutes later I woke up again on my shoulder and it was hurting. There's also a mini foot/headboard on it too, and I'm 6'2" 145lbs. so I have to sleep diagonal a lot or else my feet hurt in the morning. As far as the Tatami bed goes, are you supposed to just sleep on the tatami or are you supposed to put sheets/a matress on top of it? ok so i recently remodeled my room i replaced the carpet with a new and pretty expensive one, i painted my room and changed my ceiling fan. I got rid of my bed and got a used futon. i did all of dis da same day. Ever since something has been making me sneeze non stop my eyes swell up and get watery. It only happens in my room, if i sleep in another room im fine. So i took the cover off of the matress on my futon since it was the only thing that was used and i found nasty cat hair on it so i washed the matress and aired it for a couple days and i still have the problem, what could be causing my allergies? could it still be the futon? moreFuton Matress Covers News
