Futon Tv Questions and Answers

Open Question: Would a girl want to date a guy who has this living situation?

I'm thinking of a small 80 square feet backyard log cabin. The outside of the log cabin would be woodfinish brown. The outside of the door would also be woodfinish brown. The interior walls would be painted sky blue. The interior would have a matress, futon, small 22 inch flat tv,iPod dock, carpet floors, heating and air conditioning. The log cabin would have no windows. The reason for this is because this is supposed to be a place to escape the outside world. The log cabin would also have a curtain in the doorway in case you want the door open you could close the curtain. Would a girl be impressed with a place as such? The guy lives at home with his parents and is in his 20s. He lives in the main house and uses this log cabin sometimes.Another feature that is hard to add but is unrealistic is have timed lighting so the lights can turn off automatically if you are taking a nap. Another odd feature that would be nice is a feature where the curtains close automatically if you set the sleep timer. Another feature that would be if you leave the door open to get air and set the sleep timer the door could close automatically. more

Resolved Question: I was evicted from my boyfriend's house. to this day have not gotten everything from houe and his lady friend?

I was given till May 21st to be out of his home and we moved my things on May 9th. On this day he changed the locks before we even got back. His lady friend went through boxes of mine that were still there. She got rid of a futon, a 17" LCD monitor, a 24" LCD monitor, an RCA 19" Color TV, a CD Rack with 2 doors that locked, an entertainment center that hold my 32" TV, my Curio Cabinet. When she went through the boxes she took all of my computer parts and cords, DVD's CD's, Ottoman for my rocking chair, Eagle Touch Lamp, clothes, 2 expensive vases. Corel Dishes, Bowls, glasses, silverware, Christmas items, Angels that I have been collecting since I lost my 1st grandson in 1998, coffee cups that I can not replace as my granddaughter that is deceased gave to me, my son's Fiberglass Canoe Pizzili maker brand new, Items that were my grandchildren. I am wondering if I can do anything to both of them? He was letting her go into his house while he was at work. I have been so pissed off at him. He told me that the things could stay there and nothing would happen to them. more

Resolved Question: How much does funiture cost in Mexico?

I know Tijuana it migth be the almost the same price as the U.S. because its a border city. I just made extra bedrooms in my house in Leon, Guanajuato and I want to buy a futon instead of a bed, a small desk to put my computer, and a TV Stand or shelf. Should I go to warehouses or funiture stores? I heard warehouses are cheaper since they dont charge interest and all that credit and insurance stuff. What about Walmart? NO LINKS PLEASETiendas Elektra o Famsa. Not in La Curacao which we have here in the U.S. Their interest are too high and guarantee policies are crap. more

Resolved Question: What are the odds that my girlfriend will come back to me if I do not take her phone calls or texts?

Recently, I was in a loving and caring relationship that was going places and it all took a turn for the worst. I never cheated or was unkind to this women. I took care of her with bills money, love, lust compassion etc but I have a problem with my indesicivness, and occaissionally I lie by ommision or am not forth coming. Now I am on my last chance and I know that but we were living together for almost a year and were madly in love but I broke her trust. Now I moved back in with my parents and am greiving and she just wants to be friends. She broke up with me over the phone and when i asked her if she wanted my stuff out she said yes. So I abruptly and drunkenly moved all of my stuff out, the bed, the tv, all my clothes and belongings, basically leaving her with a futon and empty space. Days later she says I broke her heart and she rushed home from a vacation spot we were at with her family and came home crying but when she saw i had already moved all of my stuff out she said I should have waited. Now I feel like I should have too. She now has the apt to herself or so I presume. She wants to be friends and has been calling me almost everyday to see how I am doing. My boys say I should just ignore her calls, my girl friends say to take them but dont sound anxious etc....My parents say take the calls. I am just really confused because I do want her back very badly because what I did was wrong and I know I can fix it but I do not want a pity party and make her feel ok-because I am ok, when in reality I want a relationship and it isnt happening right now. I feel hurt, I feel like the problem I have could have been worked out together. I am in therapy for it plus she went with me. Even her mother who loved us together and wanted to see us elope has texted me asking if I am ok. I feel lost. I havent called her or texted her since Friday but she has me, and I am wondering If i just stop taking her calls and ignore her will it make her miss me more and maybe somewhere say 2 weeks or a month down the road get back together? Girls & guys I need your advice thanks. more

Resolved Question: Losing my EFFING mind. Does a dirty house make you go nuts..mentally too?

I hate to admit this..I'm 24, going on 25..finishing a nursing program. My bf is LAZY. Love him..but he's LAZY..and yes, he cleans SOMEWHAT..but I feel like I constantly have to be on him. I'm at my wits end bc I'm at the point where I'm FREAKING out..I'm in a f/t nursing program and Ijust can't do it all..I have mild OCD...VERY mild...but to me..it's very normal to be in a bad mood and feel gross until the house is clean. It gets beneath my skin in EVERY way and I think, sometimes, it makes me feel mentally/physically "blah", until it's clean. I just want some organization in my life and we live below his parents..we rent below them. They are EFFING loud and rude..so I had to switch our back room to our bedroom and the front room to the living room...sucks..but I had to..or I can't get sleep. Our house looks like a mess...the futon is our bed..and we just have sh*t piling up in what is SUPPOSED to be the living room..instead..our company is in our bedroom and it really BUGS me. I also HATE that we have clothes ALL over in different dressers and stuff instead of ONE place. He keeps his video games and under arm deodorant and cologne neatly stacked in the TV/entertainment stand next to his video games..but it's just so disorganized it's making me have a mental breakdown..I'm crying bc I'm sooooo overwhelmed with where to begin cleaning and I feel like I'm having to fight him on EVERYTHING. If he gives in..he does it like "Fine..whatever!Whatever! Do whatever the HELL you want!"..and It's 1 pm and I still have homework to do but I can't concentrate in this mess.. Ijust can't. more

Voting Question: i need help maximizing my small bedroom.?

my room is 8x11 and i need help with GREAT ideas for maximizing my room. i'm 16 so i sped some good time in my room and i always feel so crowded and i hate being in there when it's so small and cluttered feeling. right now i have a book case, a full length mirror, stand with t.v. and mini fridge on it, and a bunk-beds. I have looked at getting a futon, mounting up my tv and getting rid of the mini fridge and putting a mirror on my door instead of actually being in my room. if anyone has any other ideas or know where to get some great storage things please comment! also if you have any ideas for a color to paint my room, i really like pink but i no a brighter and paler color will make it look bigger, so if you can find a good color for a 16 yr old girl, it would help out a lot! thanks!thank you for all of your ideas, i really don't want a loft bed tho because my top bunk now is used as storage rather than sleeping, i don't want to have to climb up to my bed plus i hate being that close to the ceiling, but are futons really that uncomfortable? more

Resolved Question: What should go into a gamer's room?

OK, well I am converting one room in my place to be a dedicated game room (when I say game room, I don't mean like billiards and darts.. I mean like video games). I have a short list of what I think should go in here, but I am looking for more things to make this place look great. Also, do any of you know a place (awesome if you could include a website) that sells some pretty cool wall decorations for such a room? The list that I have so far would be: -Seating (big individual soft chairs, not a couch. I know gamer's don't like to be squished together) -Big screen HD, Motionflow TV (50 inches minimum) -XBOX 360, PS3.. and very low possibility of a Wii. -A small futon (or maybe one of those roll up beds that the Japanese use) for a guest to sleep over when they stayed too late. more

Voting Question: Should I bring my futon on move-in day for college?

In my college dorm room, my room mate and I plan on lofting our beds and having a futon under one and a TV under the other. At orientation, they advised that we wait a bit to bring in the futon... Like a week or more... because we "wouldn't know how things would work in our room." If we already know the futon will fit under the loft, and it's a bit of a hassle to drive (I live 2.5 hours away from my college) should I bring my futon or leave it at home for a week or so? more

Resolved Question: Would you let your 20 year old?

Would you let your 20 year old daughter share a bedroom with a male friend? I am in the process of redoing my room and moving things out of here that I don't like and buying new stuff that I do like. I am going to be buying a futon(couch/bed) from Wal-Mart for $119 for my room to replace the stuff I get rid of. My friend that NOW lives with us part time usually sleeps on the living room on the floor, he can sleep on the couch but chooses not to....idk why...guys are weird lol. The futon would be a couch during the day etc to hang out on and watch tv etc but COULD be a bed at night for him to sleep on so he has a little more privacy etc and a decent place to sleep. He is 19 and I am 20 and we are like brother and sister and don't mind sharing etc. There is enough space in my room once I get rid of the desk I never use. We would come up with some room rules etc. And would use the bathroom to change etc. There would be NO hooking up between us...ever..never ever. Would you as a parent allow it? And we have shared a room before at his house, my mom and I were fighting and I shared a room with him and it all went well, we actually liked it. Regardless of whether my mom says he could or not, I am still buying the futon for my room because I would rather have a couch in there than a desk.. more

Resolved Question: is this a good start for my novel?

i am writing a novel and i am open to constructive criticism regarding the book to improve it. please rate 1-10 (1 being horrible 10 being magnificent) and explain why and how i can make it better thanks! It is eleven p.m. and Angela Simmons is straining her hazelish colored eyes at the glowing computer screen. She saves and exits her potential novel word document and shut off her computer. Swiveling around in her office chair she pauses to observe her 7 year old son Tj who is snoring softly on the futon covered in a Thomas the train blanket and clothed in blue footsie pajamas. Angela switches off the table lamp scoops her young son into her arms and carries him down the dark and narrow hallway. With her left hands he pushes open her son’s bedroom door and lays him on his yellow oak framed twin sized bed. She covers him in a quilt, kisses his forehead and trudges back to her own room. The television set is still on blaring some paid programming show. Eddy is on his side of the bed snoring aggressively. Angela sighs opens her dresser and fishes around for a pajama top. She selects a blue oversized tank top with yellow ducklings on it. She turns the TV set off and slides into bed next to her husband. “Angie?” Eddy grumbles opening a blood shot eye. “Yeah?” Angie replied turning over to face him. “I love you…” Eddy mumbles before falling back asleep. Angie smiles, falls back on her pillow, places Eddy’s fat hairy arm around her waist and drifts into a somewhat peaceful slumber. The next morning Angela awoke with an unshakably chipper spirit, she allows herself to be carefree and even to ignore the bags under her eyes, her love handles and chaffed lips when she glanced in the mirror. She can hear the theme song to Sponge Bob square pants blaring in the living room, she comes to a conclusion that Tj is up. Angela pulls on a red robe over her petite 5’1 126 pound frame and casually walks out into the sun bathed living room. Tj is on the couch eyes glued to the TV screen whilst his uncle Micah Is seated at the kitchen table reading the comic strips and humming the melody of an R&B song that is playing on the radio placed upon the windowsill beside him. “Where’s crystal?” she asks. Clearing a few dishes from the sink. “Sleep,”” Micah answers briefly looking up from the newspaper. “You ain't worried bout nothin but them comics, huh Micah?” Angela asks slightly annoyed, “Nah sis, just what I do in my mean time.” “You ain't got no mean time. How bout you use that newspaper to find a job,” Angela retorts running the faucet over a macaroni incrusted plate. “Ay sis get off my back!” “Get out my house.” Micah is quiet after that. The door to Micah’s bedroom swings open and a grungy looking Crystal waddles out. “Morning June bug,” jokes Angela. Crystal frowns, and hobbles to the windowsill, where like an old woman; she slowly lowers herself to a sitting position. “Ain't no good morning for me,” she says shifting her weight. She proudly rubs her bulging belly staring at her unborn baby girl. “Come feel Micah, she kicking to the song!” a wide smile spreads across her dark chocolate face as Micah rushes to feel her tummy. more

Resolved Question: My step cousin's daughter is odd? Or not?

Let me explain. My uncle recently married a woman who had 1 daughter who was in her late 20's. That daughter has a little girl of her own that is 6yr old (by the way, what would that make her to me? my step cousin?). This little girl since i've known her (since she was 3) would always love seeing me. She would wait at the window for me on the days I would come by the visit and she always talked about me to her Mom. Her dad ran out when her mother was pregnant so she never had a father growing up. Anyways back to my question. This girl always loves to sit on my lap or when im laying on the bed watching tv she wants to kiss me on the lips. I've never been around kids that often so I don't know if this is weird. She always gets mad when I move my face away from her or tell her not to sit on my lap but on the bed away from me. The nights I stay over at my uncles she always wants to sleep near me and when i tell her not to I will always wake up in the morning with her on the couch 5 ft away sleeping or just sitting in a chair next to my futon. I don't know if this is weird or should I be discouraging this? Please help. Thank you in advance.I'm a male, btw. more

Resolved Question: How much does it cost to hire a moving company?

How much would it cost to hire a moving company to move my furniture from Georgia to Denver, Colorado? This is what I have: a queen sized bed, dresser, a pretty big desk, office chair, big jewelry box, futon, 2 bookshelves filled with books, an end table, a folding butterfly, egg chair, keyboard, guitar, clothes, shoes, assorted trinkets, pictures and posters, some random stuffed animals left over from my childhood that I plan to pass on to my future children one day, and 2 large bins of art supplies and paint, and possibly a tv and tv stand if my parents let me take it. I'm moving into a house that me and 3 other friends are renting. I'd be moving sometime in January, so it is some ways away. But I was just wondering how much this would cost me? I could do most of the packing for small items myself but of course they would have to pack the furniture. They would have to take my car as well since I would be flying there. Thanks for your help! ^.^I did try looking at websites but all of them want my information which I would prefer not to give. So if someone could just give me a guess based off of their own experiences, that would be best. Or if you know of a website where I could get a quote for free that does not ask for any of my information, then that would be great too. Thanks more

Resolved Question: best way to use a PC on a sofa/futon?

I've been living in a small apartment room for the past year or so. i saved a lot of space by using my PC on my lcd tv )but i have to maintain 2 chairs(one comfortable one for tv and one uncomfortable one for PC and occasional online game use) and an air bed to maintain some level of comfort. that brings me to thinking about getting a futon. only thing that's stopping me is how could i use my pc on that? ive tried many different ways but it's just really tough to use a keyboard and mouse effectively in my lap hehe more

Resolved Question: He won't think less of me because I'm poor, right?

So, there is this guy I am dating (I guess we are more than just dating..call us lovers, if you will) and I've been to his house twice. He lives 4 hours away from me and I went to his house both times (apart from the first date we had in NYC, which is halfway between us) because I have a roommate who doesn't know I'm gay. ANYWAYS, I'm thinking about telling my roommate my little secret so that my guy can finally come down and visit me. Thing is, he is 25 and has a great job, owns his own 2-story house in a nice neighborhood, owns 2 cars, one of which is extremely fancy, his house is fully furnished, has a massive flatscreen TV, cooks elaborate meals for me, etc. etc. Meanwhile, I live in a sh*tty apt. with my roommate because I am a student and obviously don't have much money..at all. We have a tiny little TV without cable, a futon instead of a couch, I won't be able to cook him anything fancy, etc. Do you think he won't care since he says he really really likes me and that he doesn't invite me to his house just so that we can hook up? I know if what he says is true, he won't mind...but I don't think he's ever been around people who aren't as well off as himself. He grew up in the New England prep-school scene and his parents lives in a house on a 10 acre plot, etc. But, at the same time, he seems very modest and doesn't look down on people. What do you think? more

Resolved Question: what do you think of my story so far?

“Veronica, you get the upstairs to yourself. If you plan on sneaking out, go buy a ladder because I don’t want to be woken up every time you pass through this creaky old door,” said Grandma, as she wrestled the maroon paint chipped giant closed. “Okay Grandma,” I laughed, “I’m going to go unpack now.” She nodded, sat down in her ancient Lazy-Boy recliner, and turned the TV onto one of those horrible family game show reruns. I walked up the spiral iron staircase, trying to fit my huge suitcase up the narrow passage. When I finally made it, I kicked off my flip flops and collapsed on the couch. I looked around… I had a bathroom with an unfinished shower, a bedroom filled with all Grandma’s old books and knickknacks, and this little loft area with a TV and a futon. It was pretty cool to have my own space, even if Grandma was right downstairs and the closets and shelves were taken up by all her stuff already. That’s when I noticed the stack of papers waiting for me… and they weren’t just any old papers. They were job applications. “Grandma,” I called, “Who are these job applications for?” “They’re for you, of course. Did you think you were just going to sit on the beach all summer?” That had been my plan, actually. “Well… I didn’t think I had to get a job,” I said, leafing through the pile. Two surf shops, the movie theatre, and a diner at the end of the pier… “In this house, if you’re not in school you’re working. Your mother said you refused to sign up for classes at the community college I recommended, and so I went around and picked up some applications for you. These places are all walking distance, so I expect you to fill them out and turn them in by sunset.” I decided I’d try for the restaurant at the end of the pier, Ruby’s. more

Resolved Question: Should I confront my roommate?

So its my first year in college and I got a random roommate assigned to me. It actually worked out really great. We can along and like the same tv shows and music and have fun together. It's great because I also made an automatic new friend because her twin brother also goes to our school and we've all become really good friends. But yesterday I came back to our room early and both my roommate and her brother were on our futon and they backed away from each other really quickly and they were both flushed and my roommate's hair was all messed up. I'm like 95% sure they were making out. But it was her brother! Should I ask her about this? Is this totally ridiculous? Am I just making things up? Ahhh I don't know what to do! more

Resolved Question: Why you think this person's doing this?

2 people who grew up together as children. Both didnt get much of an education, as in never attending college. One dropped out completely. Then in early adulthood one makes 100,000's - million bucks without a college education and the other remains on welfare, struggling, and poor. The one on welfare starts slandering the one who made it. Lying to others, putting definitions up on a site and visiting it daily to prove that the more successful luckier person is leasing their new luxury car ( which is a lie), dosent have the money they made or lies about where it came from. Utter obsession on the poorer person's part. Somehow the destitute one found a way to get a computer ( despite not working and once being homeless)- probably through one of those rental agencies like they got their other items from.) a cheap futon, a low rent tv) etc... This is how theyre slamming the other person. The poor person is contacting past associates and child hood friends ( both on computer and by phone) and telling them the richer one is a loser and has no money. As in lying to others. Why do you think they're doing this? more

Resolved Question: What's your opinion on this situation?

2 people who grew up together as children. Both didnt get much of an education, as in never attending college. One dropped out completely. The poor person is contacting past associates and child hood friends ( both on computer and by phone) and telling them the richer one is a loser and has no money. As in lying to others. On a site of theirs they're making slandering the person 24/7. It's amazing I even found out about this but with how persistant this person is on trying to ruin my reputation it eventually got around, people contacting me, word of mouth, them stalking me, etc.. What do you think is wrong with the one who never got anywhere?Ck, this person knows I did nothing illegal to get this money.. When they found out about this money they split, then this started. Before that, it was a tumultuous "friendship"- I was always the one with more in life than them. Not to sound shallow - but this is the straw that broke the camel's back. As children- this person was in the slums, I was the opposite. Yet we remained level education wise- then I made all this money and they remained the same.cf, that's what i feel this is about- their goal is to make me suffer.. Why else would they go to this extent? I tried to help them as a kid, give them things the person's own family wouldn't and make them feel accepted- it obviously didn't work. There was turmoil from age 10 and up.- On their part solely towards me. But since the money- full blown harrassment campaign. more

Resolved Question: Is this spoiling your child?

Hi I am a divorced mother with 2 kids ages 14 and 16. My 14 year old lives with me and and my 16 year old lives with my ex. I am re married and have 3 kids from this marriage ages 3,2,1. My husband and I are disagreeing about some stuff and I would just like an outside opinion. Our house is big enough that we can have a bedroom for my 16 year old son. He has in that room a futon bed and a tv that is it, since he does not live with us full time. Well his futon bed broke and so I have been looking for a replacement bed for him and I mentioned it to my husband and he freaked out and said that Levi (my son) does not need a bed he can sleep on the floor since that's what my husband had to when his parents divorced, I think that levi should have a bed here since this is his house too even if he is not here all the time but my husbands argument is that we are spoiling him cause what its teaching him is that he is an exception and that he should get 2 of what ever he wants. My husband thinks that I spoil the kids cause my daughter has a birthday party here and then her father has one for her at his house and cause the kids have christmas here and at there Dads (but with Christmas me and my ex rotate one of us buy the fun gifts the other buys clothes that way they are not getting 2 full Christmas.) I am not sure if I am wrong or could I be spoiling my kids by doing this? My husband says that all the people that he knows that are not spoiled entitled people had to earn everything that they have. And I agree that kids should earn the extra stuff that they want but I feel that a bed is really not an extra and that I should not make my son earn this. more

Voting Question: What can i do about a roommate that won't stop having sex while i'm trying to sleep?

went random for the dorms this semester cause my friend went to study abroad. basically i got a really trashy roommate. the new roommate has the top bunk, so i can feel the bed shake, violently, and it always wakes me up. i got earplugs already since he never turns the tv off and stays up late watching tv, so i can't hear anything, which is nice. it's too late to request a new roommate, and i thought he would stop after i talked to him. i have already talked to him 4-5 times. i told him to just wake me up cause i can sleep in our lounge, which has couches and is not that bad!!! but no, he always insists that he didn't want to wake me up. um...Hello? the sex is waking me up! why can't he understand that? plus it's just awkward for me, and i can't fall asleep for awhile afterward. i have all early classes, so i really need my sleep. i know there is only a month or so left, but i don't think i want to deal with this anymore. should i just get and leave when they start? i'd like to separate the beds, but there isn't room with his futon. i'm a very easy going guy, but i need to draw the line here. (i asked my friends, and they told me to videotape them and post it, lol. but i thought that would be a bit too harsh) more

My manx kitten has recently started to urinate while she sleeps. I first started seeing pee spots on a small pillow she sleeps on on my nightstand. I thought she was just marking her territory while I was not home. Then she started defecating on my bed and on my futon. Ive seen her do that while she was awake but never saw her urinate. The other day I was watching tv on the couch and she was sleeping on my stomach and she urinated while sleeping. Then next few days while she slept in bed with me she urinated in the spot she slept in. Im at a loss at what to do.Any suggestions. more

Resolved Question: I want to have the living room's futon and TV?! Help please. 10 points to best answer?

Okay, so I moved downstairs about a year and a half ago. My room is like 30x15 and I hate how it's so big! Half of it is the storage area and the other is my room. It's so cold down here! The one heater does not heat this room up at all! And, even if we were to build a wall to separate them, it would still be too big for my liking. So, I asked my mom if I could move across the hall into a tiny room. I mean, really small room here! It's 6'6"x15'10". So, it's skinny and long. But, I really want it. My mom said that I could once we clean out the storage area of the other part of my current room. We have it pretty much cleaned out, so this summer I will be moving into it. Regarding my question...We just turned our patio into part of the house (still has a door connecting to the house) and we thought we would be out there all the time using it. My mom even spent like $2,000 to get it done. She bought a 42" flat screen Samsung T.V. and a nice futon that turns into a bed. I am the only one that uses the room (it's just me and my mom that live together). Literally, she NEVER is out there. She hasn't watched T.V. on the new flat screen ever. And, no one ever sits on the futon, not even me, because we have a nice comfy chair. So, I was thinking that when I move into the little room this summer that I could have the futon as a couch in the day time and a bed at night (it's comfy, I have slept on it before) and mount the T.V. on my wall (to save room, since it's a small room!). I don't want the furniture I have right now...I have had it since I was 7 and I am now 15..Sad, huh? My mom said she wanted to buy me new furniture anyways, so why can't I just put those ones out in the room that are never used into use?! Haha. Anyways, can you guys please give me some ideas on how to bring this up with my mom and how to convince her?! Thanks so much. 10 points to best answer. Sorry this was so long. -Kristi P.S. I am always out there in the room watching the T.V. more

Resolved Question: If you have dogs and they ruin something of a roommate do i replace it?

I told my roommate to keep his stuff picked up and put away, he has been told and told. my dog got and ruined some socks and a cell phone charger because he left it down where they could get it and chewed it. Because he has been told and told should i replace the stuff? He pays no rent, no bills and don't bring food or anything in. I told him if he wanted a dresser he had to get his own he has been here 6 months and keeps his stuff in box's and a duffel bag and basket. We pay cable and he has OUR tv hooked to cable in his room, and a futon bed and our blankets, pillows, sheets. He isn't poor he works but who knows were the money goes. beer and drugs or eating out for all I know. hard to say or stashing it away. My boyfriend gets upset and says now I gotta replace what ever the dog got. I say WHY he has been told and told keep his stuff put away/picked up. can I have some opinions please and no smart remarks or words saying make him leave. more

Resolved Question: interpret these 2 dreams for me?

i had this dream a while back anyway, what does it mean? i was at my dads house (my parents are divorced) and it was night this random car came to m neighbors driveway and kept slamming into the garage door (randomly, this was a random person, didnt live in the house) then after he rammed into the garage door for 5 minutes, the house cought on fire, and they left. then the fire spread to my house, so me and my dad ran out and in seconds the house was burnt to the ground, so me and my dad got in the car and started driving away, and i was in the car and yelled "CHIP!" (he is my dog, in the dream and in real life) and we drove back and i found him in the rubbish, he was dirty and stuff but i got him then we left and i woke up. wierd second dream: this is kinda short, but it was FREAKY ok so it was 1 am and i was in ymy room with my dad and we were sitting on the futon watcing TV and there is a window behind my futon, and(it was dark outside. of coarse, but like an eirie darkness cuase it was 2am) and i looked out (to the house across the street) and there were 2 creepy kids they were like pale green (cant explain it) and then i was like " i must be hallucinating" so i turned back to the room, then turned around again to look outside and they were crossing the street, i figured i was imagining it so i turned back around to watch tv, then i turned around again, and had my dad look and the kids (about 6 years old, in creepy suspenders, old clothes) they were just standing in the driveway, looking up at us. then i woke up what could these dreams mean? anything helps (: thank you <3 ! more

Resolved Question: Weird to have a couch but no TV?

I have a small 1 bedroom apartment. In the living room, I can fit a couch but there wouldn't be a whole lot of distance between the couch and TV. There's also no cable outlet in that room (cable company would have to come), and the unused electrical outlet is only a 2 prong outlet (so I'd need to get the landlord's approval, then I guess they'd bring their own electrician). In the bedroom, there are already all 3 prong outlets, a cable jack, and space to sit on the bed and watch TV. I don't want to get a futon. So do you think it's weird to have a couch but no TV in the same room? The couch would really just be for reading or when people come over etc. I just wish it could work out to have both in the same room. more

Resolved Question: Pretty Little Liars as a TV show details?

i got this from wiki, since all over the web people are asking about who is playing what character and on wiki it gave the main character cast! Im soooo excited :) With Alloy Entertainment and Warner Horizon interested in producing a Pretty Little Liars TV series for years, it was first planned for The WB in 2005.[3] In June 2008 Alloy noted that it was developing a Pretty Little Liars television pilot for ABC Family.[2] In October 2009 Lucy Hale was cast as Aria in the project,[3] followed by Troian Bellisario and Ian Harding (as Spencer and Ezra, respectively) in November 2009.[12] In December 2009 The Futon Critic confirmed the casting of Ashley Benson as Hanna and Shay Mitchell as Emily, as well as the addition of Laura Leighton as Ashley Marin, Alexis Denisof as Byron Montgomery, Bianca Lawson as Maya, as well as Jean Louisa Kelly and Nia Peeples.[13][14] The Hollywood Reporter also noted that Torrey Devitto and Sasha Pieterse landed recurring roles in the pilot.[14] more

Resolved Question: Did I do something wrong? Please read?

My girlfriend and I met 4 years ago. Our lives were wonderful! We were most definitely in love with each other! We have the same goals in life, we both love, trust, and respect each other, and we are the best friend to each other, and our sex life couldn't mesh any more perfectly. We decided to take the next step and moved in together to try directly living with each other every day. In the last few months she's pulled back and I rarely get the "I missed you!" that we used to have. I understand that things change over time, and I am ok with it. It's been rough trying to get the wants and needs of the home together, but we're doing good. Finances aren't the first issue in our discussions. We argue more about styles, colors, and scents than anything, but who doesn't lol. We have talked about long term goals, how to reach those goals, and what we're going to do if and when those goals change. We talked seriously about marriage for a few days, and she asked me to be her husband. We're not traditional, so I said I would make me the happiest man I know to be her husband. We started off as boyfriend and girlfriend, but now she refers to me as her roommate when we're socializing with her friends. When we're socializing with our mutual friends, I'm her fiance. When we're socializing with my friends, I'm her boyfriend. When we're socializing with either of our families; we're engaged. When we're behind closed door, she doesn't want anything to do with me. We do laugh, joke, and talk together; eat dinner together; but everything else has turned to "you do your thing, I'll do mine. Leave me alone." with her. We don't read to one another or cuddle up to watch tv anymore. She's also taken to sleeping in the spare bedroom on the futon every night for the last 2 months. She keeps saying she has some personal issues that no one can help her with and refuses to share the problems with me, and she's beginning to hold grudges against me because of the faults she finds in me. I think they're petty things; like the way I fold towels, the direction I twist a bag of bread to close it, which side of the shelf I put the ketchup in the fridge, or which brand of milk I get. I know those kind of things can set a woman off from time to time, but I'm trying lol; but she keeps bringing them up even if I do it "right". And before you say it, no, she's not pregnant lol. What do I do to get her off this fence she made of waffles? Is she my girlfriend, fiance, roommate, or just a friend? more

Resolved Question: OK to deny non-existent repairs to tenant?

So here's my dilema. I'm a landlord. The tenant has been complaining about little heat in one room. I had licensed heating company come check it and they stated that there is nothing wrong with the heating system and that all rooms are heated very well. When I was there, I noticed nothing wrong either. The tenant won't except that there's nothing wrong. She now wants to call the electricity company. I told her that the electric company has nothing to do with the heat in the house and that the company that came to check the system were recommended contractors of the electric company. Now my tenant is stating that I am unwilling to help with the situation and it should be ok to break the lease. She has been threatening to break the lease and keeps coming up with problems with the house that maintenance can't duplicate. If you visited the home, you would see that she has no chairs, or couches, decorations, etc. In a 3 bedroom, living room, den, and dining room townhome, only the living room has stuff in it...a futon, tv, toys. I've taken pictures and have phone records, text messages, maintenance logs, etc. to prove my case. Oh and she hasn't paid rent for the month and wants to be compensated for not having heat in one room in which it is absolutely heated, and wants to lower rent, and complained about electric bill. Am I still responsible for paying for ANOTHER heating company to come to the home and check out the heat AGAIN?Yes, she has requested a reduction in rent, which I denied. more
